Extremely large amounts of energy is required to keep up with the demands of needy children all day, every day. Because of this, it is my personal belief that I burn enough calories from just being mom to qualify as a 30 minute workout.

Giving gifts to those we care about can be fun, but challenging. It’s easy to do the usual flowers, cards and chocolates. But flowers wilt, cards get stuffed in drawers or thrown away, and chocolate makes you (me) fat. The hubs and I tend to get each other techie gifts or items related to our hobbies and interests. Gifts like these are so much more personal than the typical Valentine’s Day fare, and last longer than a week!
